CUUNION JOBS – Terms and conditions
Advertising period
Job adverts are published on CUUNION Jobs for a period of 30 days.
After this period adverts will be removed from the site, unless we receive a request to renew the advert.
Job adverts can, at the discretion of CUUNION, be removed from CUUNION Jobs before the end of the 30-day period on receipt of a written request from the person who posted the advert. However there will be no refund in this case.
Payment

Standard job adverts cost $20 each (plus tax if applicable) and featured job adverts cost $50 (plus tax if applicable).
Payment must be completed before we can publish job adverts.
Payments are non-refundable, except in the case of adverts that are not published for whatever reason, in which case a full refund will be made.
Advert content
CUUNION Jobs accepts job adverts submitted as text, images cannot be accepted.
Only one role may be advertised per job advert, unless the advertiser is seeking several people for jobs with the same titles and job descriptions.
Job adverts are posted at CUUNION’s discretion and CUUNION reserves the right to refuse to post adverts. In the event of refusal, we will give a full refund.
CUUNION reserves the right to edit adverts, or to request that advertisers resubmit adverts that are deemed unacceptable for any reason.
CUUNION is not liable for the content of adverts. The advertiser is solely responsible for ensuring adverts are truthful, legal and decent.
Please be aware that we no longer post advertisements for unpaid or expenses only internships to our site.
Recruitment agencies may post advertisements on behalf of other companies, as long as they state the client’s name in the text.
Jobseekers must log in to apply for roles through the site, and this is then sent via CUUNION Jobs to the employer at the email address they supplied. We do not display email addresses in the job ad itself.
Categories
CUUNION will assign the following categories to job adverts:
Job type (eg architecture, design, marketing)
Job location (city and country, eg Shanghai, China)
Employer (eg Neri&Hu Design and Research Office)
Categories are assigned at the discretion of CUUNION. Advertisers can request categories via the online job posting form, but we cannot guarantee that these requests will be met.
If a job advert does not fit into existing categories we will create new categories for the advert, at our discretion.
Changes to adverts
Advertisers can make changes to adverts once they have been posted via their CUUNION Jobs account.
CUUNION can also, on request, make reasonable changes to job adverts once they have been posted on CUUNION Jobs. We will endeavour to make these changes as quickly as possible but can give no guarantees as to when changes will be made.
We reserve the right to refuse to make changes that are not deemed reasonable.
Legal stuff
CUUNION Jobs advertising terms and conditions
These terms are legally binding. CUUNION CO. LTD., of Flat A, 6/F., Wing Wong Comm Bldg., No 557-559 Nathan Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong provides this service.
Privacy policy
No financial information such as debit or credit cards are stored on the website or in any formats.
Submitting your job advert
To post a job advert via www.cuunion.co/en/post-a-job/ (CUUNION JOBS website) you must post your advert using the online submission form provided on the CUUNION Jobs website via the “Post a Job” page. All compulsory fields in the online submission form and payment details requested by CUUNION must be correctly completed by you. You are responsible for ensuring all details submitted are complete and accurate. Adverts will be removed if they are found to be illegal in any way or breach current employment law regulations. Additional terms added by you in your job advert submission will be void.
CUUNION reserves the right to refuse to publish any job advert submitted by you on the CUUNION Jobs website at CUUNION’s discretion. CUUNION will send a refusal notification to you if this is the case and the job advert will then not be published on the CUUNION Jobs website. This period for approval or refusal of your job advert by CUUNION will ordinarily be 24 hours, but time will not be of the essence for to CUUNION to respond to the submission of your job advert.
In the event that CUUNION agrees to publish your submitted job advert request it will be published on the CUUNION Jobs website, either in its submitted form or in an edited form amended by CUUNION at its discretion. You will be notified by CUUNION by email when your job advert has been published. Publication of your job advert is subject to payment of the relevant fee being received by CUUNION in cleared funds and if your payment is not completed or is withdrawn, you job advert will be deleted from the CUUNION Jobs website.
Several identical employment positions can be included in a single job advert, but if you wish to advertise different employment positions then you must submit separate job adverts for each separate employment position and pay separately for such additional job adverts.
Format and editing of your job advert
The job advert will be a text only advertisement (maximum 500 words) and there will be no functionality on the CUUNION Jobs website to allow the submission or posting of images, photographs or illustrations.
CUUNION reserves the right during the period that the job advert is published on the CUUNION Jobs website to edit or delete unacceptable content in or take down your job advert. Unacceptable content is content which:
• infringes third party intellectual property rights including (including trade marks, copyright, design rights, patents);
• is illegal or defamatory, or which may bring CUUNION or the CUUNION Jobs website into disrepute;
• offends the spirit of good taste or decency (breaches advertising codes).
You promise to CUUNION that you will be truthful and honest in your use of this job advertising service and information and representations in your job advert will not contain any of the unacceptable content referred to above. You also promise to CUUNION that you will deal with end-users of the CUUNION Jobs website who may respond to your job advert in a prompt, responsible, friendly, and reasonable manner.
If CUUNION edits your job advert you acknowledge that CUUNION will not exercise a review of the legality of the content of your job advert and you will be responsible and liable for the content of your job advert, notwithstanding editing by CUUNION.
You may ask CUUNION to make reasonable amendments to your job advert by sending a notice by email to CUUNION clearly indicating the amendment you require but CUUNION makes no guarantee that any such amendment will be made and will only make such amendments at its discretion.
Payment and refunds
Payment of the fee will be subject to the payment and refund provisions below. All valid invoices will be payable to CUUNION within 30 days of receipt of invoice. If invoices are not paid by their due date, CUUNION will remove your job advert from the CUUNION Jobs website.
If CUUNION refuses to publish your submitted job advert for any reason the fee paid to CUUNION under this Agreement in accordance with the terms below will be refunded to your account.
The fee paid to CUUNION for publication of your submitted job advert will be non-refundable, even if your submitted job advert is cancelled or withdrawn by you in accordance with these terms, except that if your job advert is refused by CUUNION and not published on the CUUNION Jobs website or you cancel your submission before your job advert is published on the CUUNION Jobs website, the fee paid for that job advert will be refunded in full to you within a reasonable time.
Limitations
You acknowledge and accept that the advertising service on CUUNION Jobs website does not include any arrangement or employment agency services and will be a simple advertising service. The scope of this service will not include assistance forming or performing employment contracts between you and end-users of the CUUNION Jobs website who may respond to your job advert for which you will be solely responsible.
You understand and accept that CUUNION will at no time enter into any contract with end-users of the CUUNION Jobs website in relation to the employment position(s) advertised by you in your job advert and CUUNION does not promise you that you will receive responses to your job advert from end-users of the CUUNIONjobs Website.
The CUUNION Jobs website will not be error free or uninterrupted and access to the CUUNION Jobs website may be variable. The CUUNION Jobs website may be attacked by computer viruses which may effect or restrict access to or the appearance of your job advert. Some occasional downtime may temporarily prevent your job advert being viewed on the CUUNION Jobs website. CUUNION disclaims its legal liability for such events.
CUUNION will not be legally liable to you for any consequential losses (i.e. loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss or damage to data or information) arising out of or in connection with the provision of the service of publishing your job advert on the CUUNION Jobs website.
Intellectual property rights
All intellectual property rights including (including trade marks, copyright, design rights, patents) in the CUUNION Jobs website (except in job adverts on the CUUNION Jobs website) is owned by CUUNION, and nothing in these terms will transfer ownership of such of CUUNION’s intellectual property rights in the same on the Advertiser.
In consideration of CUUNION agreeing to publish your job advert on the CUUNION Jobs website, you grant CUUNION a world-wide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce and display your job advert (including all contents, intellectual property and features) on the CUUNION Jobs website.
Cancellation and termination
If you want to cancel this agreement you must send a cancellation notice to CUUNION by e-mail (clearly stating that you wish to cancel publication of your job advert on the CUUNION Jobs website and which job advert your cancellation request applies to). CUUNION will comply with your cancellation request within a reasonable time by removing the relevant job advert from the CUUNION Jobs website. This agreement will then terminate.
Your job advert will be removed from the CUUNION Jobs website unless a notice in writing (which may be by email) is received by CUUNION requesting that publication of your job advert be renewed for a further 30 day period. CUUNION will endeavour to send out a reminder notice (which may be by email) regarding the expiry of the current 30-day period, but does not guarantee that such a reminder will be sent. This may be repeated at the end of each 30-day period as required, subject to payment of fees due.
If you don’t renew your job advert as above, CUUNION will remove your job advert from the website and any fee for your job advert outstanding will become immediately payable. This agreement will then terminate. If you do renew your job advert as above, CUUNION will invoice you for a further fee in the same way.
General
CUUNION may assign its rights or obligations under these terms at anytime. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these terms without CUUNION’s prior written consent. CUUNION will not be liable for failure to meet its obligations under these terms if it is prevented from doing so due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Data storage
By uploading your CV with CUUNION Jobs you agree that we will store this information on our database for 12 months. Your CV can only be accessed by those companies you have applied for roles with or by members of the CUUNION Jobs team acting on behalf of those companies, and is not searchable on the site.
If you choose to create a profile and upload a CV to our database, we rely on you to ensure that your details are kept up to date. You should update your CV at least every six months, particularly if your contact details have changed.
When you create an account with CUUNION Jobs, or upload a CV, we collect such data including, but not limited to, your first and last name, email address, telephone number, address, occupation, and any other data included in a submitted profile or resume, including but not limited to application materials.
Governing law
These terms will be governed by Chinese law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Chinese Courts.
